Launched in 2016, Hadean is a revolutionary distributed compute platform that transforms the way enterprise extracts actionable information from Big Data. The platform allows a single developer to run massive scale algorithms using their existing tool chain, and most importantly without the need for any engineering, maintenance or infrastructure support. This typically results in a product release exponentially faster than currently offered by existing Big Data solutions (www.hadean.com).
Since March 2017, Hadean has taken a membership at our Cocoon Networks London premises and is currently working with eight global customers across finance and risk management; healthcare and genomics; and enterprise and business analytics. The team is focussed on making their platform publically available in late 2017.

London is getting closer to China at least in startup and venture circles. Just as it took a while for Silicon Valley to get comfortable doing deals and expanding in the Chinese market, it’s now London’s turn. It seems as if fear of missing out has replaced fear of failure in London, finally.
A few years ago, mention China to a UK audience of entrepreneurs and venture capitalists, and hardly anyone raised their hands to show they were involved in the Chinese market. Not anymore. I attended the launch of Cocoon Network’s co-working and innovation center in London’s startup district Shoreditch and met plenty of founders, deal-makers and investors eager to learn more about China. They snapped photos of slides showing how the Chinese market has progressed from a nation of copiers to innovators with some truly breakthrough ideas and business models, and proving how much the Chinese venture market has grown over the past decade to become the second largest in the world and risen to become the third-ranked nation worldwide for number of patent applications.
