Business Development Department

Business Development Department has overall responsibility for growing businesses, market development and contributing to partnerships and profitability at Cocoon Networks. Activities extend across different teams – M&A consultant team, IP management team, Sales team, Product Development Team, Relationship Management Team. Networking, negotiations, strategic initiatives and cost-savings efforts are also involved. All teams are aim towards making our business better.

Junior Business Analyst is an entry level position but a vital role in the Department. You responsibilities will be focused on helping the line manager implement analysis, gather information and report your results, efficiently and effectively.

Your day-to-day work may also involves:

– Due diligence, research on startups, organise database, planning and reviewing
– Find new business opportunities, potential investment opportunities and partners
– Assisting with business case, build connections
– Assist in communicating with client and entrepreneurs
– Assist in preparing PowerPoint presentations and reports
– Contracting clients to keep healthy relationships
– Support in drafting proposals, MOU
– Coordinate with other departments

You will be mainly office-based.

– Strong interests in innovative industries
– Basic understanding of start-up and SME product and service development
– Enjoy working with people with different culture and background, socialisation
– Have good commercial awareness
– Be confident about gathering facts and statistics
– Be able to work as part of a team
– Be able to work accurately, with good attention to detail
– Strong MS Office skills
– Advanced level of English, excellent communication skills in English
– Mandarin is not essential but preferred
– Bachelor degree in 2:1 or above
