Junior HR Assistant
HR Operations

HR Operations Department in charge of human resources, recruiting, training and development, benefits, finance, administration, culture building and the day to day operation at Cocoon Networks. The greatest asset is our people here, and it’s important that they get looked after properly.

The Junior HR Assistant helps to make sure there is effective management of every employee. You can expect a wide variety of roles, insights into, and involvement in, all aspects of the business with this role. You will get the chance to talk to our employees, candidates, and service providers. We also appreciate your ideas. You will be a role in the recruitment event, social activities and more amazing opportunities Cocoon Networks can offer.

You main responsibilities are focused on helping the line manager accomplish HR-related tasks, including documenting, grievances, recruiting, absences, performance reports and compensation and benefits information.

Your day-to-day work may also involves:

– Assist in design recruitment strategies
– Assist in event for employment
– Assist in management of employee perks and recognition, data collection, gathering information on new applicants, contracting references.
– Assist in staff training program, scheduling office holiday part, travel arrangements
– HR compliance and administrative support to the HR team
– Proofread HR documents including audits, marketing information and handbooks
– Ensure job ads, record maintenance
– Manage pre-employment and onboard processes
– Track cost and effectiveness of media outlets for job postings
– Administration duties such as updating personnel records, pay reviews etc.

You will be mainly office-based, although you may have to travel with the team to other cities within the UK for recruitment event purpose.

– Have good commercial awareness
– Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
– Be confident about gathering facts and statistics
– Respect the importance of confidentiality, as you will be dealing with employees’ personal details
– Have good organising skills, problem solving skills
– Be able to work as part of a team, and able to dealing with cross-culture issues
– Be able to work accurately, with good attention to detail
– Be able to use databases, spreadsheets, word processing and accounts packages
– Mandarin is not essential but preferred
– Bachelor degree in 2:1 or above
